Welcome
to my Neighborhood!
A
unique community with the nickname, Jewel City -Glendale,
California is home to over 200,000 residents. Undergoing a
renaissance with the addition of the Americana at Brand opening
in 2008, Glendale has over a century of rich California history
within its 30 square miles as well as renowned residential
and commercial architecture.
Ranked
one of the top ten safest (and I believe cleanest) cities
in America, Glendale has outstanding schools including a community
college along with wonderful parks and 34 fabulous neighborhoods
of homes. Historic Districts are now being formed to preserve
our abundance of character homes. A few of the largest homeowner
associations are found below.
Glendale
has easy access to numerous freeways – a big plus when you
live in Southern California ! The city is nestled near the
5, 134, 210, 110 and 2 freeways. We are also a dash away to
our beloved Bob Hope Airport in nearby Burbank.
The city is centrally located to other vital areas Los Angeles.
Travel minutes south of Glendale to reach downtown Los Angeles.
Go minutes east and you are in Pasadena. Trendy Atwater Village,
Silver Lake, Los Feliz & Hollywood are just to the west. Jump
on the 134 freeway heading north and you’re quickly within
reach of Burbank, Studio City and Toluca Lake. Residents in
Glendale have a quick commute to many large employers, especially
in the entertainment industry.
Glendale is a welcoming city for numerous nationalities. In
fact several elementary schools are now encompassing language
programs in Korean, Spanish, German and Armenian. Glendale
city government hosts multi-cultural events throughout the
year.
Let me help you learn about my neighborhood. It’s the perfect
location to call home.
